Sarah Browning is the author of Call Me Yes (The Word Works, 2026), Killing Summer and Whiskey in the Garden of Eden. Co-curator/co-host of Wild Indigo Poetry, she teaches with Writers in Progress and coaches writers. She is co-founder and 10-year director of Split This Rock: Poems of Provocation & Witness. Browning is a recipient of the Lillian E. Smith Writer-in-Service Award and of fellowships from the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, Yaddo, Mesa Refuge, Porches, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
