Live Literature Reading Series at Writers in Progress Several times a year, Writers in Progress hosts an open house/reading as part of our Live Literature series.  The goal of the series is to provide a forum for new and emerging writers (published or unpublished) to share their work with the community.  The Fall open house is Saturday, October 18, 4:30 - 6:30 pm and will feature prose by the members of the 07/08 Manuscript Intensive group: Cindy Littlefield, Janine Roberts, Cherryl Jenson, Marion Van Ardsell, Eliza Williaimson and Dori Ostermiller.    Previous sessions: May 17th 2008 featured prose and poetry by new and emerging writers: Dusty Miller, Sharron Vaillette, Krya Anderson, Stephanie Faucher, Jendi Reiter, and Kate Kahn.   January 26 2008 featured prose and poetry by Jacqueline Sheehan, DM Gordon, Celia Jeffries, David Lovelace and Dori Ostermiller. November 10, 2007   featured work of emerging writers: Rosie McMahan, Mindy Cotherman, Susan White, filmmaker Julie Akeret, performance artist Rose Ocenia, and author Cindy Littlefield.     Prior events have featured Sarah Browning, Patricia Lee Lewis, Diana Gordon, Alyssa Lovell, Julie Akeret, Sharron Vaillette, Ellen LaFleche, Bronwyn Keefe, Celia Jeffries, Cindy Littlefield, and Nell Lake, Adrienne Stolarz, Anne Ridabock, Maureen Sullivan and Sharon Koshar,  Janine Roberts, Rosie McMahan, Rose Oceania, Wendy Lass-Luzzi, Sally Bellerose, Jane Christensen, Emily Monosson, and Caleb Warren..     The readings take place in our beautiful studio, at the Arts & Industry Building in Florence, MA.  The events are free and open to the public, and refreshments are served.
