Welcome and Happy New Year!
Writers in Progress offers
editorial services, manuscript
consultations, coaching and
workshops
for writers of every level and genre, with this underlying premise:
anyone can learn to write with power, and great writing rarely
happens in a vacuum.
In addition, Writers in Progress hosts an open house/reading
several times a year as part of our
Live
Literature series.
IMPORTANT CHANGE: The Winter Open House has been postponed to
March.
Details to follow shortly.
The next open house will take place on
Saturday, January 23rd, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm
and will feature prose
and poetry by Jacqueline Sheehan, David Lovelace, Celia Jeffries,
Diana Gordon, and Dori Ostermiller. The goal of the series is to provide a forum
for new and emerging writers (published or unpublished) to share their
work with the community. The readings take place in our beautiful
studio, at the
Arts & Industry Building in Florence, MA. The events are free
and open to the public, and refreshments are served.
