Writers in Progress offers
editorial services, manuscript
consultations, coaching and
workshops
for writers of every level and genre,
with this underlying premise: anyone can learn to write with power, and
great writing rarely happens in a vacuum.
In addition,
Writers in Progress hosts an open
house/reading several times a year as part of our
Live Literature
series. The next
open house is
is an Open
Mic, hosted by DM Gordon, and will take place on Saturday, May 9th, from
4:30 – 6:30 pm. Refreshments served, readers welcome (bring up to ten
minutes of appropriate prose or poetry to share). The
goal of the series is to provide a forum for new and emerging writers
(published or unpublished) to share their work with the community.
The readings take place in our beautiful studio, at the
Arts & Industry
Building in Florence, MA. The
events are free
and open to the public, and refreshments are served.
